Mr. Capalot (also known as Polo Capalot) is a Chicago Illinois rapper who gained popularity after posting tracks on YouTube. Initial releases included The Come Up and "Never Cared" before he made his SoundCloud d but by releasing a mixtape called "OFFICIAL POLOG SOUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me, his debut single, was followed by the smash hit track The Finer Things. Finer Things was written when he was in prison. It was his first hit song. has millions of YouTube views and helped bring him to limelight. Then, major labels began to show an interest. He finally signed a distribution deal with Columbia Records and released Pop Out with Lil Tjay. Polo G's debut hit single was a hit on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 22. Many people watched the song on YouTube. Polo G was soon a YouTube celebrity and gained a lot of attention on social media such as Instagram and Twitter.
